BMW R1300GS & Adventure Wireless charging pad

With this wireless charging pad you can conveniently charge your smartphone wirelessly by simply placing it on the charging pad. The charging pad fits ideally into the small storage compartment of the BMW R1300GS & Adventure and has a cable with a length of about 35cm and a USB Type C connection plug. It supports the QI charging standard with 15W / 7.5W / 10W / 5W and, depending on the device, delivers up to 15W charging power. The charging pad does not heat up during the charging process because the charging electronics are housed in the USB cable. We tested the charging pad on BMW R1300GS & Adventure. No quiescent current can be measured, making the charging pad ideal for lithium-ion starter batteries.
Size: approximately 158mm x 78mm x 6.5mm

Not suitable for smartphones with magnetic cases, metal cases, cases thicker than 4mm and with holding or stand aids attached to the case. These must be removed in advance, as well as credit cards or other cards with magnetic stripes!

Only suitable for smartphones with wireless charging function!

The foam (as shown in pictures 2 & 3) can be used for smaller devices so that they cannot slip on the charging pad. The charging pad is fixed with the help of two silicone pads (see picture 4) and firmly stays in place thanks to its silicone back.
The original BMW rubber mat can still be used on the charging pad as long as the distance between the smartphone and the charging pad remains less than 4mm.

If your motorcycle has a USB-A socket instead of a USB-C socket, please order the adapter (item number USB.AC) in addition to the charging pad.

I ordered this inductive charging mat from Hornig after reading recommendations on the UKGSER website. Well, I am definitely not disappointed with this product. It fits the tank top compartment on the BMW R1300GS perfectly and the side entry cable is ideally situated to allow connection to the USB-C port. The two pieces of foam supplied also fit perfectly thereby reducing the length of the compartment to hold shorter phones in place. My iPhone 15 with a thin protective case fits well and starts charging immediately it is placed on the mat. This is the perfect solution for anyone looking to charge their wireless chargeable phone on a BMW R1300GS
