Our V-Shape windscreen is made of high quality glass fibre (GRP). You simply mount it on the original BMW mounts. As well as looking very sporty it provides quite good protection from the wind what is enforced by the V-Shape of this screen. 30mm higher than the original screen. The GRP version is primed.

What does grounded/primed mean?
A GRP (glass fiber reinforced plastics) part is primed (mostly shiny black primed), after you pull it out of the mold in which it was laminated. A primed part is not a perfectly painted part! It can for example have small scratches and so on. This is normal and no big deal, because usually these products get painted in the respective motorcycle colour (by the customer or by the customer’s varnisher). Primed means ready for painting! It does NOT mean perfectly painted and also does not mean that the part has a perfect surface.

Which windscreen is the best option for me?
Windscreens and wind protection are always a complicated issue and advices via internet or telephone are not possible or wrong in most of the cases.
It is not only about the windscreen, there are also many other individual factors like your helmet, your sitting position and your own subjective feeling.
Therefore, we cannot give you any recommendation or advise.
Before ordering, many customers for example test the necessary windscreen height by slightly moving their head up and down while driving.
