The cockpit cover 2 covers the R1200GS and R1200GS Adventure's tachometer unit. In addition, it features two integrated, fused sockets. For example, mobile phones or GPS units can thus be plugged directly into the cockpit without having to run annoying cables around the motorbike. Because of the fused direct connection, these units can be charged even when ignition is off. Normally this causes problems with the R1200GS. This black cover is made of powder-coated aluminium and includes stainless steel mounts. It fits perfectly. The unit can be fitted alone or in conjunction with the cockpit cover.

Does this cover also fit on a BMW R1200GS 2004-2007?
No, the cockpit cover unfortunately only fits you R1200GS from 2008-2012. All previous and following models have a different cockpit and fittings.

Great product, really enhances the look of the cockpit and having access to a power source in this position is great. My only negative is the slight vibration between the cockpit cover and the original cockpit frame. Some rubber coating strips would reduce the additional noise. Not a major flaw, still a great product.
