BMW R 1250 RS Driver Vario Footrest System

The Vario footrest system (joint) will be mounted to the motorcycle like the original footpeg. The Vario plate (adapter) will be mounted to the joint and the footpeg will be mounted to the Vario plate. You can only use our Super Grip footrest, our Racing footrest or our Multi Grip footrest. You cannot use the original footrest. You can fix the Vario plate every 45 degree. For a better understanding you can see the complete footpeg lowering on pictures 2, 3 and 4 (all three parts must be ordered separately!). The joint is silver anodized.

In the process of setting up my R1250RS for my wife to ride, We found it was about 25mm too tall for her, even with the low seat. We chose to get boots that were 25mm taller, in the front and heel. In order to make the shifter accessible with the taller boots I had to use these adjustable footrests. It worked exactly as we hoped it would, and the quality of the parts were excellent! I had to mount them so that the pegs were higher and set toward the rear of the bike. I highly recommend them, and the shipping from Hornig to the me in the USA was extremely fast, I had it in 3 days.
