Our clear glass LED headlights are designed for a simple replacement of the original part and distinguishes itself by a reduced energy consumption (16W low beam / 18W high beam) which relieves the alternator.
The headlights supply pure white light and have a chromed or black metal housing. The product has the functions high beam, low beam and parking light and will be delivered including all illuminants and an original plug.
With E test mark.
Symmetrical radiation behavior, therefore suitable for right-hand and left-hand traffic!

Questions about this article

Can the headlights be used as daytime running lights? and what about the high beam, low beam and parking light?
This headlight has high beam, low beam and parking light or position light.

It says for the R1100R “Facelift” but can't the headlight still be used for an older R1100R?
The difference is not in the structure but in the size of the headlights used.
I will send you the dimensions of our LED headlight, then you can check whether it should fit you before ordering.

Maximum depth of the spotlight: 13.5cm
Diameter of the headlight at the attachment points: 203mm
Only from the front does it come together to about 196mm.
Glass has a diameter of approx. 180mm.

Headlight is waterproof inside.
Cable entry does not have to be closed.
At the lowest point there is a hole so that any water that may have penetrated can run off.

Can also be mounted on the Rockster. For this, a 10mm spacer (two in total) is required for each side (available in the hardware store), possibly an additional washer on each side. (The Rockster headlight is a little narrower than the standard headlight).
The "glass" is plastic.

Does the E-mark of the headlight allow unrestricted use in public road traffic without extra homologation, registration, etc.?
Yes. You don't have to do anything else.

How do we do the right thing with the connection cable and the rubber seal?
The LED headlight is mounted without the original BMW seal. The headlight cables are attached directly to the tank or frame.

Is the black headlight matte or glossy?
The black color isn't really shiny, but it's not very matte either. Something in between, but I'd call it matte rather than glossy. (But that is just my personal opinion!)

Is the headlight for LHD or RHD? Meant like for drive in Europe or UK roads?
The LED head lights generate a symmetrical light pattern, they are suitable for LHD and RHD-countries. Please check your local regulations whether symmetrical light is legit for motorbikes.
