BMW Motorrad Days Pictures
2012-07-11 - in Garmisch Partenkirchen The BMW Motorrad Days are already over, which attracted this year around 35.000 BMW motorcycle fans from Germany and the world. The riders travelled from far away, among other countries from the United States, Mongolia and Taiwan.
There was certainly no boredom from 6.-8. July at the foot of the Zugspitze. BMW Motorrad offered an exhibition of the entire model range, including the world premiere of the two new models
BMW F 700 GS and the BMW F 800 GS, the revised version of the
BMW S 1000 RR, the
BMW G 650 GS Sertao and the two
maxi scooters. In the Classical tent were exhibited remarkable models from ancient times, which certainly brought back some memories.
Chris Pfeiffer fans got an absolutely magnificent stunt-show. The freestyle legend danced with his
F 800 R and also the
K 1600 GT roses into the air effortlessly. The motorcycle acrobats Lukas Weis, Frantisek Maca and Samuele Dottori demonstrated real skills in a captivating show with incredible jumps and backflips.
For tourer among the BMW drivers, there were presentations by Michael Martin and Ramona and Herbert Schwarz as well as extensive information on products for vehicle and driver facilities and destinations.
Motor sports fans had the opportunity to meet the motor sports professionals and collect autographs. The racing version of the
S 1000 RR could also be admired.
Who was interested in a test drive, was able to enjoy the Husqvarna motorcycles including the Husqvarna NUDA 900 on the Offroad Track in the Bavarian countryside. Worth seeing was the classic parade on Friday, as well as the traditional motorcycle parade on Saturday with many extraordinary and lovingly restored models.
In the party ten you could let fade away the eventful day with excellent food and fantastic bands and talk with other riders about the numerous impressions.
There were three unforgettable day in Gramisch-Partenkirchen and: "After the BMW Motorrad Days is before the BMW Motorrad Days"! See you next year.
