Our conversion of the water-cooled BMW R 1200 RT LC 2014 will be present to the BMW motorcycle riders at the BMW Motorrad Days 2014 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen for the first time.
Although we had ordered the new R1200RT with GPS preparation we wanted to use our existing navigation device, like many customers also do. Therefore we have developed a sat nav mount so that the most commonly used Garmin and TomTom motorcycle navigation devices can be placed over the speedometer. It does not matter whether the R1200RT was purchased with or without GPS preparation for the BMW Navigator.
Our bench seat modification provides more comfort and less pain after long trips. The flat suitcase lids reduce the overall width by 22 cm and allow you to manoeuvre easily with your RT even in cities. But the lids also reduce the space by about half.
For this reason we have attached a Givi V47 topcase with a volume of 47L that matches perfectly to the rear light. There is also the Givi tankbag XS308 with a volume of 20 L. Thanks to its brilliant mounting it can be removed very quickly and easily.
Invisible but very useful are our cooler protection and the Nautilus horn that accords you the necessary respect from the other drivers also in hectic situations.
With a variety of aluminium lathed and milled parts we give the R1200RT more elegance and individuality, for example with our end weights, the oil filler plug with emblem and our rear wheel centre cover.
Besides elegance and individuality, our side stand foot enlargement offers even a practical benefit.
The Remus HexaCone exhaust provides a better sound and more driving pleasure.
