The new roadster from BMW with two-cylinder boxer engine embodies pure driving pleasure and unique design. Whether on beautiful country roads or at distinct tours: this vehicle always looks good. No motorcycle combines comfort, dynamics and touring quality better than the new R 1200 R.

Accessory for your BMW R1200R LC 2015-

Thanks to the DOHC engine the current BMW R1200R has an output of 92 kW (125 hp) at 7,750 rpm and develops its peak torque of 125 Nm at 6,500 rpm. As well as at the brand new R1200RS a 2-in-1-exhaust system with a dynamic-looking, steeply angled rear silencer ensures the right exhaust path.

This new model is equipped as standard with the two riding modes “Rain” and “Road”. Besides ABS, the standard specification also includes Automatic Stability Control (ASC). With the special equipment riding mode “Pro” the Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) as well as the two riding modes “Dynamic” and “User” are still added.

At the new R1200R the wheel control takes place over an upside-down fork and an EVO Paralever. The Bavarian long-established brand places special emphasis on excellent steering precision, perfect handling and a very good braking grip. Due to the newly designed tubular steel bridge frame, the two-cylinder boxer engine fits ideally into the overall picture.

The electronic suspension Dynamic ESA enables the right driving dynamics in all situations. The two damping properties "Road" and "Dynamic" improve driving safety, performance and comfort once again. The cockpit is fitted with an analogue speedometer and all important information is accessible on the TFT display.

The new R1200R can be purchased in three different colours, including in Cordoba blue non-metallic, Light white non-metallic with frame in Racing red and Thunder grey metallic with frame in Agate grey metallic matt. Depending on colour choice, the new BMW R1200R has a personality of its own.
