The new BMW R1250R

The new BMW R1250R is the personification of what BMW Motrrad calles "dynamic road pleasure". The water cooled boxer engine was further developed in order to pass the future emission tests. The four valve technique in combination with electronic fuel injection and a controlled catalytic converter makes sure that you always have enough power when you need it, but it is also efficient and environmentally friendly.
The new BMW ShiftCam Technology ensures more power over the complete rpm range. Not only the emission will be lower, but also the fuel consumption.
The R1250R has two riding modi, ACS and Hill Start Control as standard. The ride modi Pro and other, dynamic traktion controll DTC, ABS Pro, Hill Start Control Pro as well as dynamic brake control DBC can be ordered additionally.
The LED day time running light as well as a real electric active suspension called Dynamic ESA "Next Generation" (automated adjustment) can be ordered in addition.
The big 6,5 inch TFT-Display is standard for the new R1250R.
The new water cooled boxer engine has 100kW (136PS) at 7.750rpm and 143Nm at 6.250rpm and the volume is 1.254 ccm.
