Shift lever extension for switching to reverse gear.
The original shift lever for reverse gear is difficult to reach. Our shift lever relocation makes shifting much easier because the lever is placed more advantageously. The ball (diameter 12 mm) is easy to grip and operate even with gloves. The shift lever operating mechanism is placed 130mm higher than the original. The lever is made of polished stainless steel.
The lever can be adjusted with the clamp - simply screw it tight in the desired position, but then check that no part of the extension touches the motorcycle in either position. In position F, the lever with the ball should be as far back as possible. However, it should be ensured that the on-board socket can still be opened. In the position R, the ball should not strike or hit the intake port.
Suitable for both variants (one-piece or two-piece) of the original shift lever of BMW R18.
