BMW Motorrad presents the new S1000XR

2023-10-31 - More power, comfort, and design for the long-distance sport bike

BMW Motorrad introduces the new edition of the S1000XR. The model, which has already won multiple test victories, now impresses with an even more powerful and efficient engine, optimized ergonomics, refined design, and an extensive standard equipment package.

The new S1000XR is based on the proven inline-four engine of the S1000RR, which ensures a linear and harmonious power delivery. The engine output has been increased from 165 HP to 170 HP, thanks to improved intake channel flow and adjusted mapping. The maximum torque remains at 114 Nm.

The motorcycle also offers more comfort and freedom of movement for the rider. The seat has been redesigned to provide more space. The seat height has been raised by 10 mm to 850 mm and is available in three variants. The optimized ergonomics make it easier to change the seating position depending on the riding conditions and provide better control over the machine. The design has also been revised, now appearing even more dynamic and sporty. The rear section has been equipped with new side panels and air intakes from motorsport. The radiator cover has a new surface texture, and the previously black "beak" is now presented in the respective body colour.

The new S1000XR comes with an extensive standard equipment package that enhances safety and comfort. This includes the adaptive cornering light Headlight Pro, daytime running lights (DRL), the keyless Keyless Ride system, a more powerful battery, and a USB charging option. New optional equipment and accessories include the E-Call emergency call system (also available for the USA), the GPS Laptrigger M, and the M Carbon Wheels.

You can choose from three colors: Blackstorm metallic, Gravityblue metallic, and Lightwhite solid paint/Motorsport.
