They are carefully designed to allow clearance for oil changes or valve cover access, so they never need to be removed. Guards attach to the engine mounts not the engine covers to protect the engine heads and not destroy them.

GPS Mounting for BMW S 1000 XR for Garmin and TomTom SatNavs Easy and fast mounting is possible with our new GPS Mounting for BMW S1000XR. The windscreen can still be used in all positions and you always see your GPS without looking away from the street. No vibrations!
For Garmin SPIII, SP26**, 2720, Zumo 550, Zumo 660, Nüvi and all BMW Navigators, GPS SP26** & 2720 owners will need to purchase the Garmin Motorcycle Mount. (see pictures) Colour: Anodized Silver
In order to provide the necessary distance from the screen you need the Zumo adapter (article no.: Zumo-Ad) for all Garmin and BMW Navaigators. With the adapter tomt-Ad Ed 2 you can install all TomTom 2nd Edition/Urban Rider Pro/TomTom 2013 LM & TomTom 400.
