Questions about this article

I was thinking of going with rear LED lights only for the moment, will these blink correctly if I leave the standrd set of blinkers in the front and do not change indicater relay or do you need to go LED front and back with new flasher unit?
With the relay (WLR-05) it doesn’t matter which indicators you have mounted (both LED, both usual halogen or halogen and LED mixed).
The indicator frequence will be always the same.

Why can't the connector be "locked"?
Possibly, the pins were slightly deformed when inserting the connector. In this case, you have to adjust the pins by means of e.g. a small screwdriver so that they are in a vertical and centric position. The connector now fits without any problems and can also be locked.

Never been a fan of the add on resistors. This will always flash at the same rate no matter the load on the circuit. Easy swap, and perfect upgrade to go with the rear and front led lights for my R1100rt!
